Hi there! My name is Roger Teran, and I am from the beautiful country of El Salvador. I strongly believe that “software is eating the world“. It has yet to do so in Latin America, but it surely will. Soonish, I hope to accelerate that change.

I enjoy programming. I write code to analyze data and, ideally, make and automate better decisions. Though I have an MBA, over the years since graduating I’ve deliberately become more technical.

To “formalize” my technical transformation, I am currently a graduate student in UPenn’s engineering school, studying toward a master’s degree focused on computer science and machine learning.
